Let me begin by saying you need a good nose to truly appreciate this in all its complexities. It begins strong with a sugared violet note and a bit of freshness. If you don��t love it, hang on because it changes to a Turkish delight marshmallowy vanilla softness with a soft woodsy violety impression slightly lingering. Some people cannot smell the base notes and that��s just biology. You can learn to smell the ambroxeny notes if you wear it repeatedly. It takes about 30 minutes to an hour to get to final scent, and sometimes I get a very light smoky note. Some won��t make it this far, and that��s a shame. Not basic and not grandma, unless your grandma is a wood nymph hottie.
